On my desk you will find an Icom IC7600,which is the great radio,especially after updating the software to the new 1.02; the receiver is somehow quieter/cleaner than before, and filters are working better. An IC7000- great for portable use. It is on bedside table now.  Kenwoood : TS-870S and TM-251E. Icom IC-2100, and old but excellent receiver made by Redifon : R551. Additionally i have home brewed power amplifier for HF bands. When portable, my trusty FT-100D from Yaesu and screw driver antenna from Tarheel Antennas are solid performers. Antennas are mainly wires with exception of my GP-7DX groundplane. If you hear me just give the call...
